Rameau…

…was born well before Mozart, in 1683, but lived a long life by the standards of the period, and died in 1764. (Mozart’s short life ran from 1756 to 1791.) This is one of his later works, so if you put B you can have an honorable mention (given that Mozart began composing as a 6-year old), but the best answer is A. Despite a very classical, even Romantic feel to his music, Rameau was closer in time to the Baroque composers JS Bach, Telemann and Couperin.
